NII Stali Altyn Helmet

The Altyn needs no introduction.

This legendary helmet was stamped in the roaring furnace of Nii Stali, deep in the heart of Kamchatka.  Or something like that.

This particular helmet has the smaller comm boxes and rubber lining of a mid-production model.  Visor is in good condition and the boom mic clip is surprisingly intact.

The markings on the rear microphone mount and the spade on the side of the helmet were put there by one of the prior owner, while the helmet was in service with ROSN "Kasatka".
