NII Stali K6-3 Helmet
$325.00Price
The NII Stali K6-3 helmet is like a younger brother to the Altyn. A younger brother who is less technologically sophisticated, less popular, and a whole lot uglier.
Originally based on the Altyn shell, the K6-3 was the commercial derivative of the Altyn project. The shell thickness was decreased and supplemented with aramid lining. This increased aramid lining extended to the edge of the shell, giving it a distinctive textured appearance.
The K6-3 also received an update to the visor with a new titanium bracket. As NII Stali did not produce the original Altyn radio equipment, the basic K6-3 omitted any kind of communications gear. This resulted in a very sturdy, very straightforward helmet that was delivered at the regional level within the FSB. Some elite units within the MVD also received the K6-3 as well.
This particular helmet is in fair condition, and comes from ROSN "Kasatka".
